Tunnel Access Information The tunnel is open for public access from sunrise to sunset. Parking is available at both the East and West trailheads. There is easier access on the east for those seeking a less strenuous experience (and is recommended for accessible/handicap access).
The roadway and the land leading to the trailhead/park is privately owned and visitors should obey all parking signage.
Know Before You Go You must bring your own flashlight or headlamp. Ground surface is inconsistent. Please be cautious when walking through the tunnel. Please stay off the rocks along the trails. DO NOT touch the walls inside of the tunnel. DO NOT drink any water coming from the mountain side along the trail or from the rocks inside the tunnel. Fill your water bottle before arrival.
